Eden Lake Township joins hospital district

Half the members of the Paynesville Area Hospital District had elections on Tuesday, Nov. 5, for representation on the district�s board of directors. All terms are for four years.

In Paynesville Township, Kay Spooner was elected to replace Grace Peteler, who represented the township for ten years on the board.

In Roseville Township, write-in candidate Joseph Musel was elected to the board with 18 votes. He replaces Mel Jones, who did not file, after serving ten years on the board.

Incumbents were re-elected in four other entities: Sarah Olmscheid in the city of Lake Henry, Vickie Ruegemer in the city of Richmond, Mike Hansen in Union Grove Township, and Don Thomes in Zion Township.
