May 12-19, 2001, was National Nursing Home Week. To celebrate, Koronis Manor held many fun activities for the residents and employees. The annual crowning of the King and Queen took place, with John Meyer (right) and Janet Thompson (left) chosen as royalty. Members of the Paynesville Elementary 3rd Grade Class read their essays to the residents one afternoon, and PAHCS' own Mike Noonan serenaded the residents with country cowboy music, adding a western flavor to the week. On Thursday, residents shared in a potluck dinner with the employees. The Litchfield Choraliers were on hand Saturday afternoon to share their musical talents with the residents and their families. It was a festive week and everyone had a great time!
