One of the many benefits of
being in close proximity to a larger health system is convenient access to
all medical services. You can walk down the hall to your clinic or hospital
appointments without worrying about the weather. And if emergency care is
needed, PAHCS' staff of physicians and nurses are right there to assist you.
700 STEARNS PLACE: Open since 1988, 700 Stearns Place has 30 one-and two-bedroom
apartments ranging in size from 520 to 861 square feet, including several
wheelchair-accessible units. Designed with your comfort and needs in mind,
all of our apartments feature a charming bay window, tasteful d�cor, and
many other amenities: complete kitchen, bath with shower, roomy closets and
storage space, dining and living room areas.

HILLTOP CARE CENTER: Opened in 1979, Hilltop Care Center (formerly known as Hilltop Good Samaritan Center) is a 60-bed skilled nursing facility serving the residents of Watkins and the surrounding area. Hilltop was purchased by PAHCS in 2002 and now serves as one of four housing and care options for older adults throughout the system. The Hilltop Care Center is located about 70 miles west of the Twin Cities on Highway 55 in Watkins.
Residents receive the best care possible in a loving and respectful environment. This requires creative planning that provides continued growth for residents, staff, volunteers, family and friends. We are committed to this growth as we strive for quality care for our residents.
Adult day services are available at Hilltop Care Center. Services offered daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

KORONIS MANOR: Since 1964, Koronis Manor has served the long-term care needs of the residents of Paynesville and the surrounding area. This 63-bed skilled nursing facility is attached to the Paynesville Hospital and Paynesville Area Medical Clinic. Being an integral part of a system allows us to take advantages of a number of strengths including a well-trained, compassionate staff and the latest in technological advances.
The staff at Koronis Manor takes great pride in the care they provide to each resident; treating the residents in a respectful and dignified manner is a top priority. The staff is committted to providing quality care by enhancing the residents quality of life with our continued growth and changes.
Adult day services are available at Koronis Manor. Services are offered daily from 7 a.m to 5 p.m.

WASHBURNE COURT To meet the growing need for assisted living in Paynesville and the surrounding communities, PAHCS has recently renovated Washburne Court into a beautiful 24-unit assisted living facility. Formerly known as the Good Samaritan Care Center, Washburne Court is ideal for individuals who may need assistance with some activities of daily living but don't need all the skilled services in a nursing facility. This setting is designed with your needs in mind...safety and security AND independence and choices.

VOLUNTEERS: Are you a child or adult who has an interest in elderly people and a desire to be of service to others?
You can fulfill that need by becoming a volunteer.
Volunteers play a special role on the care giving team. You can make a difference by bringing your talents, skills, experiences and personaltiy.
You can help provide ongoing friendships and a continuous link to the community for the residents living at the care center.
We have many opportunities for volunteer service work available: cards, bingo, games, crafts, baking, outings, sports, nail care, hair care, current events, reading, letter wriing, decorating, sining, receptionist, sewing and mending, typing, hostess and escort services, pass snacks or ice, and more.
